My Body and what to do?

Okay, So I'm 6'0, 149lbs quite 'skinny' (when you see the photos you'll know what I mean)

So I want to get into shape, but I'm not sure what the best action to take would be? I don't want to loose any weight, but I don't want to gain any weight really either, just be toned and healthy. The side picture is when I'm 'relaxed' and not standing fully straight, but I'm sure that doesn't matter.

What would people suggest as the best plan of action for getting in shape? I've started to cut down on the snacks I eat, and started to drink more water.

Do you lift any weights at all? You just need to get into a workout regimin and put some muscle on. There are plenty of people here that can help you set up some full body routines. Eat enough to compliment that and you should see a fairly quick transformation if you are starting from a no resistance training baseline.
 
Well I have weights but they are 5kg dumbells, usually doing 10 reps of them, 3 times. Would they be adequate since I'm not aiming for massive muscle increase? (Although if need be I could probably find money to get some decent weights.)
 
Invest a little time and a little money and go down to your local gym, have a chat to an instructor and get them to show you a few things.
Alternativley ask heaps of questions on this forum and work a few websites and I am sure you will get a pretty good idea of what can help you.

Mate you have the potential to have a great body. You are tall, and your not fat right now, have a but of a gut but that will go in no time as I am guessing you have an high metabolism. Join a gym, hit the weights, and ghet plenty of protein.

My girlfriend works in my gym and a guy who works behine the bar was like you, now with work he has a great body, chest, defines six pack.

I wish I started like you are. I started being 16stone being fat.
I have a slow metabolism and its still a costant job keeping in good shape now.
 
My friend started running to lose weight and then started with his gym workout a month after. He's now happy with his abs. :D
