Yes I am doing a show Spring... May I think since I dont' think I will be where I need to be for March. Figure. Yes I am cutting now and will post shots that are full body when I feel I am presenting as needed. I know I am not to any end result and so I don't want someone taking in the whole thing and giving me loads of " well you need to tighten this... " Legs are hard enough to show. :) I have about 10 pounds I want to lose still, slow and steady, I will.

Ahh, the Hack Squat I know that machine. :) Thanks and I am going to work that in to my routine. I had stopped doing the feet turned out thing for while and was concentrating on the front placement perfect form variety that I have trouble with. I mix it up so I don't get adapted but I think it has been a month or so... I am adding that in and dreaded box jump squats, step ups, romanian deads... good times.

Interval training is becoming a staple. I don't have a problem developing muscle in my legs but I do dropping weight off my lower body.

Thanks all for honesty and kind words. Don't know if thinking I was a man is ever going to stop perplexing me... :)
 
Just the name Mel Def is what made me think u were a guy. I never looked closely at your avatar, just assumed Mel Def was a guy named Melvin. :p

For starter, your legs looks awesome for 99% of the population BUT since you are competing against seriously obese people, you need to push yourself that 99.9% tile. Brace yourself for the criticism and I will try to be as positive and constructive as possible. Shoot you look awesome but I know you are like me and aways looking for room to improve.

I would add some more thigh muscle (quad + hammy) and really push to tone those calves up. Bigger calves looks nice but it might make the thigh looks smaller. How does the back of the leg picture looks like. Additionally, I would continue to push to trim off a few more percentage off the bodyfat for the well defined look. You are actually really close, I can really see the defintion in the 3rd picture. Oh, since you are dieting soo hard lately, I think your leg may look a little flat because of it. Once you carb up, you should look more full, I am guessing here.

As for posing, I don't know if you noticed but your stance on the left leg seems to be off to the side a little bit. The toes are slightly side-way and thereby I can see the back of the heel. It's appears to me that the right leg is pointing forward but the left one is at a slight (mabye 10 degree) outward.

Before people spam hate messages at me, Mel Def is training for a fitness competition and that is why I am trying to find "improvements." Btw, I love that flat abs look and from the pictures, I do not see any "cottage cheese" leg at all; meaning you have very tone legs already.

Thanks and totally helpful. I agree with your assessment and my posing is in need of perfection I know. I was distracted because my daughter was taking the pics and I was worried she was going to drop the camera or smudge the lens but I agree that stance is off. I have not worked my calves to be honest. My old trainer told me not to bother but I think she was wrong. I naturally have large calves and I get a bit nervous they will get humongous. Thus, I concentrate on the intervals and getting lean.

The Nutrionist is a Kinesolgist and I am going to get her to assess my body on Wednesday in a cruel fashion. I also am fortunate to have BB Pro friend who has given me some critique. That said, I am not leaned out AT ALL. I haven't dropped an ounce yet. :D More on that in my journal. I feel like I am on the road.

Didn't post the back pics because they were so blurry. I need an adult to take my pics and then we will get better results on seeing what is what. Saturday I was swollen when I took those pics. Inflammation. This morning my legs are more defined. It's amazing how big a difference 24 hours an make and the food and so forth. I felt good and lean this am. My glutes and hams are still WEAK. I will brave up and post those too but I will need to drop a bit more and might wait til I have some tan and suit magic on my side. Chicken, aren't I? I will brave up but give me 3 lbs gone first.

SXIPro- thanks. I like to be thought of as Yummy. Much preferable to manly. haha. That is my joke of the week so I am going to wear it out Im afraid. I need a hysterical smiley.

I'd love to give some good critique but I think you're a little too advanced for me to even begin to comment. The one thing I think I can see is that your calves look a little more developed than your quads but that might be becasue your BF is still a little higher than competition levels which always seems to make quads look smaller.
