New members: tell us your gender, please!

I am continually trying to figure out new members' gender. It makes a big difference in what we recommend.

I know im not new but just FYI im shemale.

Aside from differences in BMR (a 5'11, 200 lb, 25 yr old woman is 1741, man 2043) I don't think its a big difference. It would just be nice to know...so we're not calling some smoking hot chick a dude.

Shouldn't be a huge difference in terms of dieting either.

In terms of calorie requirement it would probably be a pretty big difference. Though, a lot of that difference is just because most women are smaller in size, and not the gender in particular. I often miss stats with new people, height, weight, training age, stuff like that is at least as important as gender. I think g8r80 just wants to know who he should be hitting on.

Of course the calorie req would be different. It's different for everyone, unless you have identical stats and goals, however the types of foods wouldn't/shouldn't be different.

What type of context are you putting this in, LV?

For example, if one were to (again as an example) consume 0 carbohydrates, and shift the grams to protein and fats (say, for example, the purpose to deplete glucose stores with one very lean and in the right position), then there is no consumption of carbohydrate containing foods, which then, make food consumption different as compared to someone else :) :)

Best wishes,

Chillen
