Sticking Out Ribs

Hi everyone, I'm 16 and I my ribs stick out badly. After searching on the internet, I found out that I can cover them up by building up muscle. Does anybody know what types of exercises I should be doing to cover them up? Also, what sort of things do I need to be eating?

You aren't going to build any significant amount of muscle by doing just core training. Trust me, I spent years doing really elaborate core training, but my torso never got any thicker until I started doing squats.

So, you could look for a temporary fix, or you could tackle the real problem: you don't have enough muscle

It can definitely help, but I agree the best way to get a thick midsection is to move heavy weights through a large range of motion (ie snatch, hang clean), or to move weight on any plane of motion above your center of gravity(ie squat).

However, the exercises in the article are exponentially better than typical crunches, sit ups, and leg lifts, etc. (which, imo, do next to nothing)
