A little while ago I was very sick, I caught a fever which left me bed-ridden, during this time I lost my appetite too, could only drink water. To my amazement 2 weeks later I recovered, I stood on a scale to view my weight I was 2 stones lighter. If anybody's thinking about trying the water diet at home DON'T, here's why! As quickly as I lost the weight I gained it all back again within 1 month (due to feeling starved & overeating). Also, I was suffering from a terrible pain in my toes & thighs (like pins & needles) which was probably due to my blood and muscles not getting enougth nutrients & vitamins during my illness. In future I would like to try a liquid diet combined with food, becuase I've seen the dramatic effects (by accident) a liquid diet can have. I think the most important rule with all diets is mind over matter, if you're prepared mentally we can complete any healthy diet.
