plain protein question

Respect is earned, not given unconditionally.

Exactly. And you have none of mine.

You apparently missed the boat when tact, diplomacy, kindness and patience were being handed out ... or maybe your parents didn't think those were virtuous qualities and you never learned them. I just think you need a different approach. Because you're turning people off left, right and centre with your self-righteousness.

At the end of the day, "if you can't say something nice, keep your mouth shut?" You might want to give that a try and see how that works out for you.

ok everyone shut the **** up.

You guys are not helping the guy with this arguing. Just wait for him to come back and then ask him if what he wanted was a suppliment with 0 added sugar or 0 carbs at all.

Focus, you might want to dropp the "holier than thou" attitude you seem to carry in every argument, the only purpose it serves is to antagonize.

I know, Karks, but being provocative is a great way to learn things people wouldn't necessarily want to volunteer on their own. Human nature and all that. Besides, it is a moral certainty that those interested in the truth are willing, able and ready to see past its method of delivery.

And, you should know, I was already done, and would like to point out that I think i_love_muscle is a wonderful member of this community and an excellent and knowledgeable lady in general; my criticism was of the method, not the person, and while I do not think it merits this sort of adverse reaction, I don't have any interest in unnecessary friction. I but respond to what is said to me. And only in defense of my contribution to the collective knowledge.

I don't like ON because they keep jacking their prices up.

Trueprotein.com is actually a good suggestion seeing as you can completely customize the protein you want. You also cannot typically beat their price per pound of product.

Other than that, ON does carry a flavorless whey that has no sweetners in it. Jay Robb (although over-priced) has a flavorless/no sweetner protein.

My favorite protein (other than Syntha 6) is from MRM. They're very fair priced and have quality products with very little sweetners or no artificial sweetners.

Hi guys,

Yesterday, after work I went to the nearest save-on-food to buy dry cheese and unexpectedly found plain tasteless protein called Kaisen (spelling?). It was exactly what I was looking for - really nice taste when blended with half of apple or banana and skimmed milk. No bad aftertaste and not loaded with sugar - I am a happy camper! Thank you all for helping me to resolve my problem.

It isn't hard to find un-sweetened whey, just type it into your fav search engine. You can even create your own custom protein e.g. from
