I know there are a lot of products on the market that say they are supposed to make them go away, but I wanted to ask if anyone has used a product that has worked? I went from 295 lbs to 181 lbs
Bad News: Stretch marks are permanent scars. They never go away.
Good News: Over time their color fades and they may get a little smoother
Exactly........
Even though I havent used much stretch mark remover products, as far as my experience goes, they don't work. I've used one vitamin K product and been using vaseline cocoa formula for over a year now. My stretch marks are still as cospicuous as before. No slightest change.
Lots of people get stretch marks. But at the end of the day, it's far better to be fit and healthy than fat. You did the right thing.
Consider your stretch marks to be your war wounds. And if you have excess skin, you can always have surgery to get rid of it.
ILM, gave you a good link to review, and YEP! Consider it a war wound!
HEY! I have a big fat lower lip..by bonking a stupid Dumbbell on my face.....pfft! Just a war wound....I can't talk, this makes my wife happy, and we are all good!..........>

Don't fat lips just feel horrible? It's so hard to talk properly. And they hurt, too
I've given myself fat lips in the middle of the night by accidentally hitting myself in the face. I'm a very active dreamer![]()

:yelrotflmao:
What the heck do you dream about, LOL.
The worst part is I can't kiss my sweetie. And, she is a tough one! Geesh! LOL.
When I told her I met the iron plate with my face, she says, "Well, that's what you get, you weak @ss!: She loves me......(I think, LOL).
Well, the way to properly heal it is to move past the rep point I failed at and show who's da boss.......
ROCK ON! ILM!
Best wishes
Chillen
well, you know, it depends on where you have. Just imagine for those people who have stretchmarks on butt like I have. It would be funny to think that way :yelrotflmao: For me, its the seal of malpractice of my paediatrician. When I was a kid, I suffered from pneumonia and was hospitilize. During that time, I was injected with excessive glucose solution more than my body could handle. As a result of this, I was turned into ballon in very short period of time. Even though doctors at fault, my parents couldn't sue him as we were living in country that doesnt allow to do such.Consider your stretch marks to be your war wounds.
Thats cool.Oh, the usual dream is I'm a knight and I'm fighting battles on my horse, sword in hand. Chainmail is very heavy ... at least it is in my dreams. Horribly heavy. The damp air makes it hard to breathe. And the sword I use feels like it weighs at least 10 pounds, but that's probably because the chainmail is so heavy on my arm.
Sometimes I'm slaying evil creatures with hideously evil red googly eyes (those dreams scare me). I have a nice special "anti-evil katana" for those slayings
And sometimes I do gymnastics in my dreams (I really miss it). I must really be doing something, because when I wake up, I always feel like I've overstretched my body and my shoulders and lats hurt
The other recurring dream I have where I've been told I get quite active is when I'm being buried alive by having stones piled on top of my body. I actually die in that dream. It's horrible.
Those are usually what I dream about when I end up giving myself a fat lip or a bleeding nose![]()
Thats cool.
I love dreams, and i have very vivid dreams. Have you ever had a lucid dream???

as long as they are good dreams I hate night mares wake up and have to tell myself it was just a dream ahhhhh
My dreams are very crzy also.My dreams are WAY too vivid and realistic. But that's not a bad thing ... some dreams are really, really quite pleasant
Have I ever had a lucid dream? All the time. In fact, if I don't like the way most of my dreams are progressing, in my dream I say "change this". So I make a conscious decision to change the way it plays out. I think that being able to override our subconscious mind makes us much stronger mentally.
The only dream that doesn't work on is the one where I'm being buried. That one is etched in stone (no pun intended).
