are my maxes any good?

They would be good, but that's negated by the fact that they are very likely fake.

chanes427 my 2 cents, if those are your stats for real then they are impressive but don't put too much stress on yourself as you are still growing. Ignore people like [Focus], many gym rats here can't get those stats but just want to talk the talk. What are your goals in working out?

LOL @ Focus.

Good lifts for a 16 year old, you put me to shame. Any chance of pics? You must have quite some mass to be 200lbs @ 5'8" and also with 8% Bf. Hmmmmmmm

Especially for a 16 year old.

Why?
If he really is 200lbs and 8%bf then those lifts seem quite normal to me. Maybe the bench number seems a little high relative to the others but if he's 16 then chances are he's been benching twice as often as squatting

If you just meant that they're very likely fake as this is the internet then fair enough :)

Why should he ignore me? I'm telling him to do better, regardless of where he's at. You're not saying anything useful.

Wouldn't it be more advisable to ignore you? ^_^

Lets not start a fight ladies, he just doesn't seem to get your facetiousness

I'm not being facetious. Question is open-ended; my answer has just as much if not more validity. To suggest otherwise is dumb, irresponsible or both.

Not to mention his reasoning against is fallacious (ad hominem; appeal to authority). To not say anything would be to stand idly by while vaeclica teaches the OP mediocrity through bad thinking.

Also wanted to elaborate with, "I agree 100% with Lei's second statement, if that wasn't obvious."

If you posted here to seek approval, great, you found it, if those are your stats, they are good. Now of course, that is assuming that the squat is breaking parallel.

Also, this is the internet, so for anyone to actually believe you, videos are probably required.

Haha, true, this is the internet, so I'm sure not enough people care enough to want to see a video.

If the kid's 200lbs and 8% bf I think his figures look normal

Good luck to you OP, but stop asking for approval, you're the only one who know's if they're any good or not because only you know what you've put in to get those figures. Now go get the squat over 500 :D

for any 16 year old I think those numbers are pretty impressive. Most 16 year olds, even those who train regularly, won't get that much up. But of course, it depends how long he has been training. If he has been training since he could walk then high numbers are to be expected.

When I was 16 I could bench press a Volkswagon, deadlift a semi trailer, and squat a freight train.

Seriously dude you need to post some kind of back up for me to believe that.
