Building chest

I've always been embarrassed about my chest. I have no chest, it's kind of sunken in. I'm pretty thin, which I don't mind, it's just my chest I don't like. What's the best way of building it without having to go out and spend a ton of money on training equipment?

Also, how long/often should I train and when can I respect some results? I guess diet matters a good bit, so is there anyone that can link me to some good diet sites? What should I avoid in foods? Does this even apply to me anyway? (I'm 5'7, 125 pounds ish)

You have to give a few more details and possibly come back to the thread.

- What equipment do you have?
- What is your current routine?

if you don't wanna spend any money, do pushups, body weight flyes and dips

+1

When doing push-ups, make sure you keep your elbows out, and not let them come in towards your body. It works your chest more that way. Try to do as many inclines as you do regulars to work the upper part of your chest as well.

Sorry about the delay. I don't really have a workout routine. I recently started doing incline pushups and dips with just anything I have around the house (chairs for dips). I'm not sure how often I should be doing this, I read somewhere once every other day, but my muscles were so sore from the day before yesterday, I could barely do any today.
