Are they worth purchasing? And you could always give me some sample workouts to keep me from browsing the internet endlessly for more informationThanks so much!
Hmmm so purchase, two?
You can get an excellent workout with a single bell if it's heavy enough. You could get, say, a 4 and a 12, or an 8 and a 16 - that way you'd be able to do exercises that require lighter weights (like shoulder raises, turkish getups) as well as the heavier bell for stuff like swings, squats etc.
hahahahahaha
kettle"balls"

saweeee
i think their great to use as Stingo has already pointed out...easy, and amazing for warm-ups, cardio, throwing etc.
Doing KB swings and windmills are proof enough of the benefits, however, I never have a training program designed around KBs alone. Just another tool in the shed. You can find LOTS of information online with the amount of exercises you can do with these that you can't necessarily do with DBs.
my warm-up consists of swing: 2-arm and 1-arm.
also working on a compound set of exercises.
1 set: 1-arm Clean to front squat to push press to overhead squat to windmill -- repeat for the other arm with no rest.
Kettlebells are the $hit....yes.
