for sure don't cut. I would start putting on muscle. You have a fine base to start from. Bulk!

You're still pretty lean. You must be bulking very cleanly. Keep it rolling.

I'd guess you're maybe 12% ...maybe lower...far from fat

LMAO, 16% isn't fat, that's pretty lean, 10-12% is very lean

How skinny are your parents if they're calling you fat?

Yeah, under 20% should be in the "healthy range" for a male. Is yours a Tanita? That's what mine is and every other method tells me I'm 11-12. It says 18.5 to 19 They say it overestimates if you lift weights because it mistakes the additional bone mass for fat. I don't know if that's the only reason, but mine seems very high.

yeah. It's toned down significantly though, but seriously my nickname in chinese translated roughly into "Little Fat One" kind of demoralizing...

my scale is a "health-o-meter" by sunbeam products...

You're not fat at all! If you keep bulking to a stage like this and cutting again, you will probably have pretty slow progress, to put on muscle nearly without fat is a very slow process. I'm not saying to eat like crazy and get fat, but do longer bulks.

So I'd definitely bulk if I were you, and I'd use the 10x3 waterbury routine. I'm a big fan of this as you will be lifting heavy and you get high volume. The 10x3 stuff can take some time, specially if you do several 10x3 exercises on the same day (I don't remember the program that well, but I remember it was good) I spread out what I had for 10x3 over 3 days, so one 10x3 every day and the rest of the big ones something like 4x6. With 10x3 you will get A LOT stronger and bigger. Of course, it depends how your body responds, everyone's different, but you can't go through life without having tried the many sets low rep method

I've heard good things about ABBH too, thought about trying it, but I never got to it. Since I haven't actually tried anything like that myself I can't comment that much, but I'd go with either that or 10x3.

As for BF%, it is pretty impossible to guess, but you're not near being unhealthy at all, so you've got "room to grow" to put it like that.

Yeah, some parents just suck at that kind of stuff. My mum would say I was all skin and bones, I had a terrible effect on my self image as a teen. At least it makes me know what not to do with my kids

yeah same here. but it kind of helped in a way that as a result i lost 55 lbs.

as a result of them telling me I dont study hard enouhg etc. I got a near perfect score on the SAT.

Karky, I can't find the article to Waterbury's 10x3 that ISNT for fat loss, maybe you can help me out?

TESTOSTERONE NATION
That's one workout he has written with 10x3

What I basically did was set up a 3 day a week FBW where I did 10x3 for one exercise each day (I think I might have gone with 2 exercises some days, if there were excercises I could superset), then the rest I would do 4x6.

your looking very lean man... and surprisingly big arms for such a skinny dude.

are you fat?? HELL NO! Seriously, that's crazy if you think you are...

I would start putting on mass immediately..!

I really like the looks of the 10x3 and the ABBH... it'sk ind of a tossup. Is the jogging really necessary for the 10x3?

Just to throw in my two cents.. I would do a high volume program... just doing 3-4 exercises at 10X3 sounds meh to me... more for strength building.

the volume part comes with 4x6 in the 10x3, it's not a complete 10x3 program, check out the link karky gave.

i don't want to be hyoooge or anything, i just feel that 155 is too light for a guy. no offense if any of you do weigh 155 or anything, but wearing shirts that are sized small, and pants that are less than 30 inch waist kind of pisses me off. Still, I like it better than being really fat but w/e.

jogging isn't really necessary. RWS over a week, how much volume do you typically have for horizontal push, horizontal pull, squat and dead?

Well I totally rehauled my routine for cutting, but when bulking it was a lot.. I don't feel like calculating it - too lazy :p

but you can look in my journal if you really care..
