Cutting 5 pounds in a week

Im now at 12 Stone 5 Pounds, i was taking medication which ballooned my weight up to 13 Stone 8 pounds(I lost the weight in December 07 only to go back on anti depressants which ballooned me again).
My target weight is 12 Stone, then I want to start toning up, any tips on how to lose 5 pounds in a week(noting I will be drinking alcohol at the weekend).
How much cardio and swimming should I do? I also need to lose body fat around my stomach as I have a bit of a beer gut?
 
If your going to be drinking on the weekends and still want to lose weight, that shows me you don't really want it that bad since your not willing to make sacrifices.

Anyway, your not going to lose 5lbs of fat in one week unless your overweight.

During the week though Ive cut out all fats and junk food, been eating slimming foods and living off mainly chicken, rice and fruit.
Cut out Crisp, Chocolate and Pizzas etc.
Would sitting in a Sauna and sweating it out work, ive seen MMA fighters do it?

Well, I guess thats a start.

You need to do the following things first

1.

Calculate how many calories it takes to maintain your current weight.

2. Subtract 500 calories or 20% from that number, and thats how many calories you eat to lose weight.

3. Unless your planning on losing only water weight, sitting in a sauna for long periods of time will do nothing but dehydrate you and raise estrogen levels.

You want to lose fat. That takes diet and exercise, not sitting in a sauna.
