Would sprinting help your lifting for explosiveness?

When I have watched the olympics I have noticed that 100m sprinters are quite well built.

Would doing sprints along with weight training help cut fat and promote a better physique?

My current training goals are hypertrophy and to put on weight - but over time.

I have been 'bulking' for about a year now and have managed to get away with not putting on much fat.
 
Im a brilliant sprinter, always have been (excuse the ego :) Infact should i say WAS a brilliant sprinter, its in my jeans, after my Dad.

I soo wanna start doing sprinting again also, but theres nowhere to do it really. Im ****ing scared someone will see me lol, and if they do ill feel like a dick. I dont know why!

Iv been wanting to do uphill sprinting and sh1t like that :( I need to get over feeling like a fool!

What did you run the 100m in?

9.32 seconds, hehe joking.

Dont know, never did it. But i was always the fastest in schools, and i played for 3 different rugby teams and was also the fastest player.

Also i went to an athletics club when i was younger, and in a regional event, i came second in the final, losing to a person with running shoes and a starting block.
