Skinny Fat man needs some help

Heres the deal im about 6ft 195 and not in a good way lol. 25 yrs old 36 inch waist.

This is my plan: 750 below maitenance calorie level

FBW on mon wed and fri

HIIT on tue and thursday

My next question is should I also do some steady state cardio?

I want a 6pack by june and bigger arms.

if you mean by skinny fatman that you lost weight and suffer from that xtra fat/excess skin, I'd watch a deficit that big because its going to add to your trouble I went through the same thing when I lost a bunch of weight why dont you try something like 500 cal but dont just cut right into it you got get to that slowly or else starvation mode kicks in and you wont lose anything but muscle. Also with a deficit you may be able to tone your arms but you wont be able to build them, so your going to have to chose between the ladder probably to be most effective. regardless still weight train, do you know what your bf% is???

dont forget that the exercise that you will be doing i.e HIIT and weight training will be putting you below your bmr as it is, so my recommendation would be to drop maybe 100-200 below, and let your activities handle the rest. As already stated above you dont want to risk losing your muscle mass, so make sure you lift heavy and get in your protein and other macros accordingly.

As for the steady state, if you are going to be lifting 3x per week, and doing HIIT 2x, i would suggest not to as you could risk over training, but if you really wanted to, just do it either on sat or sun but id give 1 day off.

By skinny fat man I mean I have like 14" arms and a 36 inch waist. and at 195 and 6ft, my bf% is around 17%.

Which basically means my goals are conflicting. I want to lose the spare tire, and I want to work on getting my arms/rest of me bigger.

And I dont know how to rectify those goals. All of the advice is for people who want to cut OR bulk. Most likely due to the fact that bulking requires an excess of calories and cutting requires a deficite.

Maybe I just have to prioritize and work on things at different times, which will take much longer. But may be the only option. I dunno. If I had to choose though, its more important to me to get down to 10%bf than get big at this stage.

dont forget that when you strip the fat down from your body, it will expose your muscles that you already have, and they will look more pronounced, and defined, therefore seeming bigger.

i know what you mean man, the hardest part isnt even the losing the weight, its that bf%. I hit a plateau at 11% myself and never got past it, what im doin now is tryin to bulk just a bit i weighed about 178 and my goal was to hit 185 and then cut down again, because so many people told me that if you gain muscle mass than your cardio is alot more efficient but I dont know if it made a big difference so far cuz it seemed like I lost some definition in my abs actually. If I were you I would just go really try hard for that 10% cuz then go for the arms.

Thanks, I think that is the best bet too. I think it will be much easier to get the look i want going from very lean, than adding more bulk for me to cut later.

Atleast given my goals for a timeline.
