Box jumps are a great exercise for the legs, although for training purposes a 24" box is usually sufficient. I was curious if I could jump at least 42" (about chest height on my short, 5'9" ass!) being that I'm just a couple months from 40. Apparently I can.
These were taken in my gym just a couple of weeks ago. Now I'm curious what my top jump would be. I don't have an ideal box, as you can see from the photos. Aerobics steps being slightly stabilized by someone holding them in place is probably not the smartest thing. Don't try these at home, kids!
