Want to get bigger

Worded what different? What should I eat for breakfast? get up earlier and scramble like 3 eggs? Would that be good

The question is, are you willing to eat more (cleanly) and are you actually willing to get a weight lifting routine started?

Would you really stick to it...This site can motivate you a lot and give you some brilliant info, but its upto you whether you want to put the work in.

Dont take this the wrong way, but you come across a bit lazy about it....maybe im wrong :)
 
Hey guys, I'm new here. I was hoping you guys could give me some tips.

I'm 16 years old. 5'11", 140 lbs.

I'm a skinny guy. I really want to get bigger because I'm self conscious about it. Now over the summer, I went to the gym every other day and lifted for an hour, doing machines assigned by an instructor. I didn't get any bigger :|.

How would you guys suggest I get bigger, without going to the gym (Don't have time). I was thinking about trying some of that protein powder, but I don't know which kind. I'll happily do Push ups and stuff at home. I eat a normal amount, but I have a fast metabolism so I don't gain any weight from that. To the point, I just want bigger arms and possibly chest.

Eat everything you can get your hands on other then junk like chips lollies and soft drink...if you want a burger have it :) your skinny and you need the extra calories. Dont need to eat perfect just eat lots of food and if you can eat lots of clean food its a bonus ;) Allot of people will tell you to do it perfect on this forum like measure how much you eat and all that **** but for a begginer that can be off putting. Once you start to see gains and get a bit of mass and start to enjoy working out and being healthy then you can go on the perfectness path :)

Why didn't you get any bigger do you think ?

How long were you at the gym training - i.e how many weeks in total ?

You weigh 140 lbs now ......how much weight do you want to gain and by when ?

What I meant was in the morning, all I have to eat is cereal. Should I cook eggs or something?

Simply either eat a greater quantity of food ( i.e 2 bowls of cereal, 2 slices of toast, etc. ) and or more calorie dense foods ( i.e fruit juices, peanut butter etc. ).

Regardless of whether to want gain some more muscle and or fat on your frame, either way, you need to find ways to boost calories in order to pull that off.

At lunch, what other choices do I have... I'm at school. For dinner my Mom never cooks so I'm on my own. Ok, fine, when I leave for work in a minute I'll eat 2 Large BBQ sandwiches. Enough? (Also, I'm fine with just gaining fat)

Again, simple stuff you can do, such as ....snack throughout the day, add high calorie foods / snacks ( i.e nuts. juices etc. ) where you can, have larger portions at each meal etc.
