Hey, I thought that was FF's ride, not Sparrows. I'd never say that about her, she'd kick my ass.

P.S. - Mine only has 2 water bottles cuz when you weigh as much as I do, any more would break down my rims. Maybe as I continue to lose weight I can add more bottles and be like you all.

totally cool! Georgen- did you see that 1:41 half mary? hmmmm, I wonder if my improved trapazoid, and posture- that makes my breathing more efficient- had anything to do with my major improvement? ;)

g8r80- It is "precious," Sparrow's old Big BLUE, relocated and renamed. and she is revving to burn you up big guy!!! BRING IT! How about Saturday, just the two of us on the suncoast for the 85 end to end round trip? Has to be early tho, I have a 5 mile run to a soccer game after that. It would be the perfect brick.

Iron-spin class- and the GIRL got to lead. The other guys harrassed ME for lettin her win the half marathon race by 2 full minutes. She worked us hard- but still like a girl! Can you believe that!!! I get the best run of my entire life, sub 8 min pace, and they give me a hard time- Ironmen have no manners!

bent over rows, 2 X 10 ,single arm with 30's
bench press 3 X 10 @ 135, 145, 165 (stretched lats between sets)
dips 1 X 15
curls with big long straight bar @ 65lbs 2X8, @ 85 lbs 1 X 8
single arm curls with 30's 2 X 10
w-bar curls with 50 2 x 6

steamed and stretched, lats got really loose tonight, felt great.

Weighed out at 184.

Georgen- I am not getting a cghest stretch. Either I have no muscle there, or I am tense or soemthing.

Could be both. Take a pic so we can see how things are looking.

One thing a lot of people do is let the shoulder come forward when doing a chest stretch. Keep the shoulder back.

This one will sound different, relax your shoulder and "reach" your hand farther from your body. (or your body farther from your hand, whichever works best for you) So you are stretching your arm back and away from your body. (hope that made sense)

Another thing to try is change your arm position. Move your hand higher or lower. "Shop around" for a position that works best or you.

So for example -

Looking at the picture you can move your hand up or down in position. If you lean away from the object you are holding on to that will help to pull your body away from your hand.

hey- just straightening out my fingers seems to make a difference a bit. I am also a bit sore so I can feel the stretch better tonight. having my arm a lower and relaxing into more of a angled over my shoulder bend makes is stretch harder too.
hmmmmmm - soemtimes my head just doesn't work right... kinda like with the ab wheel. who'd of thunk.

Well- tonight i had a deep Tissue sports massage scheduled, my V-day gift, but I missed the appointment, then there was traffic at the university.

SO- ipartked my truck and ran around USF for 90 minutes. guessing about 10-12 miles or so.

RICH- I'm in for triple digits, and there is a caviat in flatwoods that is real nice and worth a good 8-10 miles or something. I'm gunna go. Lutz Lake Fern entrance to the suncoast parkway, along the veterans expressway. flat and fast, hills section about 40 miles out, and water stations well tended. I am thinking 5:30-6:00 take off time?
 
oh sorry.

you have great ones. I would recommend a 10K. BUT you are young, and if you just wanna do a bit of traingin and go for it. the catalina island would be a great one!!! I did laguna canyon- very hard, I did the Upland- stright up a mountain and then straight back down, and I did San Diego- it was hell.

sissy! I'm thinking 115. hehehe I evened up the game for ya some-

ride: 5.7 mountain bike
swim : 1500 - 43 min

lifts:
single arm curls, 1 X 3.5 with a 60, 1 x 8 with a 50, 1 x 6 with 40's
big long bar curls, 1 X 12 with bar, 1 x 6 with 65, and 1 x 1 with 95!! I am the hulk!
shrugs 3 x 10 with dumbells 40's
shrugs 2 x 8 with long bar and 135
clean and jerks - 4 x 3 with 135- but this time I used one big plate on each side.
pull ups in an L sit- 2 X 8
raised sit ups with 8 lb medicine and twists 3 X 15- outch

swim
4 X 50 holding breath, two breaths, hold it again.
then we had some 50's races. My fastest was 41 sec. I think the lifting tired me out enough to get me smooth in the water
300 cool down

ride 5.7 home

my pecs hurt- weird.
