Lose weight by this way.. it is good?

Hi there,

1) I am going to gym everyday, since last week, and I want to lose 50 pounds. I just wonder if it changes anything if I go to do gym in the morning, evening, or night? Will I lose more pounds if I do gym in the morning or evening, or night?

2) Also, does the cardio machine such as Stair, CrossRamp, or Treadmill can help me to lose weight? Because I lose like 500 calories with these machine per day. Does it have any help on my diet?

3) Actually, I do intense cardio, then finish with musculation. But I have think of doing regular cardio, then musculation, then finishing with cardio. It is good, or it doesnt matter?

4) Last thing, I also have a treadmill in my house, so whenever I want to watch TV, I walk on it during 2-4 hours per day. It will help to lose weight too?

Thank yoU!

If by "musculation" you mean resistance training or weight training, most people would suggest doing cardio after weights, except perhaps a short warmup before.

You may also want to see where you can put exercise in your daily life. For example, walk up the stairs rather than wait for the elevator.

1. The time of the day you workout doesnt really impact the number of calories you lose.

2. Cardio equipment can help you lose weight. The diet is key. You need to determine what your base metabolic rate is, and then have a 500 calorie deficit each day (this includes diet and exercise) and you will lose a pound a week. Use the BMR calculator available on the site to determine what your calorie intake should be.

3. Weight training is key in terms of helping lose fat. I would suggest doing weight training first, then any cardio you have planned.

4. It sounds like your over-training with the additional 2-4 hours of cardio at home.

see some of the stickied threads on diet, nutrition, and weight training 101 for some detailed and probably more informed ;) responses.

Thank you very much!

But about my point 4, is like.. I mean, instead of sitting and watching TV, I can walk by watching. It will helps my body to stay active, it is right?
