So this has been quasi journal which I update, like, never.

But for anyone interested I recently released a blog and am in the midst of interviewing Lyle McDonald.

Training front, I just started a bulk again. I've been lax on physique goals. Spent the better part of this year working on athletic development (whatever that means). No specific sport, just general speed and agility work as well as power work.

Now I'm doing something DC-esque with rest pause sets. Toying around with loaded stretching a bit too, but not as much as Dante suggests. I'm liking it so far.

I forget how much I hate having to eat when I bulk. Previously this year I simply ate. Didn't pay attention to calories or macros much at all. Just ate balanced when I was hungry.

To eat enough to grow, I have to pack it in which becomes a job in and of itself.

We'll see how long I stick with this.
 
I know what you mean. I don't know how many cals you eat to bulk, but for me, 3200 is plenty of work. I feel like I spend so much time during the day eating, preparing, and packing foods. It is worth it I suppose, but muscle growth can be a slow process.
