AEagleNFitch's Journal

allllright. this is the begining of at least the next 2 years of my life.

i signed up for this site today to help retain motivation to achieve my educational and fitness goals.

i'll be attending lake washington technical college's 2 year personal trainer program starting jan 8th.

im 18 years old, avg 153 lbs 5ft 9in. i used to work out between 16-17 yrs old at the gym daily, sometimes twice daily. i did alright with no specific work out plan, i just lifted never did cardio. i had a lot of definition but never really built muscle mass at the time i was around 140lbs 5ft 9in.. that's why im here/going to college, i want to learn how to do it right. and i want to get relatively in shape before i go.

the reason i stopped going to the gym before was my mom canceled my membership, i'ts been quite a while now and i havent benen eating quite right in the mean time but i'll be getting a new membership this weekend.

my current goal it to work on cardio and get rid of all the extra bits of fat on my body, specifically the tiny bit of pudge around my belly button. any info on how to get rid of that would be helpful, from what i understand though the only way is cardio.

i have a treadmill here at home which i've began using last night and this morning i run backwards and forewards, backwards uses different muscles and increases heart rate.

can anybody offer a good program for running on the treadmill? like half an hour morning and night walk 5 min. then increase incline and speed 1.5mph for 10 mn. blah blah. that would be helpful.

151.4lbs

yeah whatever..... we'll see!

i've decided to run on the treadmill for at least 30 min. every day with at least 20 min in target heart rate zone. aside from that i run another 10 min backwards.

i'll be doing a losely assembled ab work out as well until sat. when i sign up for the gym.

how does this sound?

so i have a question, about 2 months ago i developed a larger apatite. i could go a while without eating and it never bugged me but all of a sudden over the last 2 months i've felt like i had to eat and eat a lot. of course nothing healthy comes fast so i settled for fast food. bad idea and i've stopped that.

here's my question. what are some cheap easy healthy snacks i can have for times like right now where i would cook some ramen or something, should i eat an orange or a protein bar? also, what kinds of vitamins should i be taking to help me burn off some fat doing my cardio excersizes?
