LOL!..........Can you see it now!...................................>:eek: :rolleyes:

Iwish4Fitness:

I want you too listen to something:

All bodily responses to diet and training is GOOD (outside of injury). If the reponse is good then you know you are doing something right. If its a bad response, it may not be the one you wanted, but its the body's feedback telling you that something needs changed. If you stay the same you will get the same results.

The body is continually adapting to the stimulus provided, and is one TOUGH B@stard to master sometimes---so you have to be tougher than the body to get your desired results. A LARGE percentage is the MIND GAME.....dont let anyone tell you ANY DIFFERENT------if they do........DONT LISTEN.

You have to bare in mind this: Your body isnt the one "wanting" to stop the weight training (the body knows--jack didley), it was your "frame of mind" that was the "Killer".

When ever you have a problem, whenever you need a friend and/or friends, whenever you feel the need, whenever you feel its necessary to talk..........you come here to the forum.......and let US pick you up.....brotha.......I firmly believe this is what its about.............

YOU KEEP ROCKEN,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

If I can help more.......let me know

YOU CAN DO ANYTHING DUDE!.............ROCK IT!

Squats, DeadLifts, Military Press, Bench Press (Flat and Incline), Close Grip Bench Press (tri-focus), Bent Over Barbell Row, to name a few.

To establish the amount of weight i should perform with, say in this case for a bent over barbell row, Ive heard for mass gains the amount of reps should be around 8-12 and that if i am able to perform a 13th rep i should add more weight, is this the correct way to adjust to weights? Also thanks for the compound exercises, im itching to try them out LOL, i think ill go to the gym tomorrow to give it a go again.

Remember two CORNERSTONES in wanting to gain weight:

1. DIET.....DIET!!!!!! (CALORIES----->BABY)

Watch, look, and LISTEN to your body--It WILL tell you if your doing things right. If you dont gain weight in say, one week.....its just a matter of adjusting the diet and/or training in some fashion...its really simple BABY!

2. Weight training (compound exercises as the "mainstay", not saying that Isolation dont have their place, as they sure do). You want MASS.....then be SURE to have Squats and deadlifts in your program......Powerful execises.....you "feel" the power of the movement when its done. correctly....I promise!
=========================================================

Rep range of 8 to 12 is fine to start off. And, yes in the basic sense, once the 13th (preferably 12th) rep is completed, you UP the weight the 2nd set (progression BABY!) say, 5lbs, and perform the 2nd and 3rd set.

THEN go SCRATCH THAT ITCH!

Scratch that ITCH!

Iwish4fitness is out of the DITCH and has the mental TWITCH to scratch that fricken ITCH because he just flipped the dip SWITCH!

BUH!!!!!!!BUH!!!!>>>>>>>>>HAHAHAHAH...............LOL

YES.......ROCK IT!............Scratch the itch!

Best wishes
