Another good day, got out fishing with my brothers but not so far and not so successful. Had fun anyway. Breakfast was a turkey sandwich, lunch 2 lite beers, and a taco salad for dinner. Probably not the best nutrition, but within my calorie objective, I think. A small shark I caught (and released unharmed):IMG_1241 (002).jpg

Just got home and I am tired. Will try to catch up with others soon, thanks for all the support. I ate more today than I have eaten in any one day in over a year, not a lot more, but more. My app says 1,583 calories and I think that is about right. I also had some sweets for the first time in over a year. I think I am ok with it, I suspect I am still in a calorie deficit, just not quite so much. I feel fine, a bit full, but fine. Will weight tomorrow morning and see what happened on the vacation. My calories may have averaged a little higher, but not very much.

I read in one of the threads that you have had a loss. That doesn't surprise me one little bit. Not many people can lose while on vacation, but you? Of course you can :) Welcome back, Rob.
 
It was a good day, getting back on track after vacation. I ate well, did 2 hours at the gym and feel good tonight. Had the grandkids over for a shrimp boil with some I brought home from Florida. Think I enjoyed them a lot more than the kids did. It has turned cold, rain and fresh snow in the mountains, not sure summer will ever come. We had a fire and I helped the kids with s'mores, but ate none myself.
Glad you enjoyed yourself Rob. I’m sure the scales will be kind.

Rob the scales will be what they will be . You are nearly there now . The holiday sounded super . And last night with the grandkids and shrimp sounds wonderful.
 
It was a good day, I ate well, exercised, and feel good tonight. Did 1 hour and 40 min at the gym, not the 2 hours I did yesterday but I am happy with it. Ate a flounder I brought home for dinner, every bit as good as yesterday's shrimp.

I didn't like shrimp AT ALL as a kid. Things can change a lot!
Hard to imagine someone not liking shrimp! Don't you have an allergy? I know shrimp and shellfish allergies are not uncommon.

Well said Petal, and I am trying to come to grips with what being there will look like. I know you struggle with those last few pounds, I am sure I will too.

1 hr 40 at the gym sounds excellent.
Was the area you went to bad for covid?--i know there are some areas getting hit pretty hard :(
At least a lot of your activities were outdoor...
 
Ha Rob I think you are whipping those last few lbs off pretty quickly. I'm stuck too long now !
Good job on the gym. And yes keep away from the virus. There was a program on tv last night and it was horrendous seeing the people in hospital who got it bad. Everyone please be careful .
 
You are storming ahead - and doing great - even did great while you were on holiday which is brilliant. Keep doing what you are doing - you have this.
 
Down 2 lbs this morning to 172. That's 148 lbs, 10 stone 8 lbs, or 67 kg to date. I am happy. Its a 2 week loss, did not weigh in last week but with the vacation I am pretty happy. I did not expect to lose this much.
