The struggle is Real!

The last couple of years I have been really struggling. I remember the time I thought I could never get over 200 pounds then I did. 2019 introduces me to my all time high of 224.
Im so embarrassed because I honestly know better. Some contributing factors:
Laziness
Overeating
Drinking alcohol
Relocating
Uncertainty in relationship
Not sticking with a workout routine.

Currently I am eating a plant based diet, I just needed to get back to basics.
My last weigh in I was at 217
I worked out 3 weeks without a problem then hit a wall for the past week and a half.
I am back to journaling to get out of one head. Put something in writing and hold myself accountable.
My goal 4 days a week gym
Healthy clean eating
Get under 200 pounds

Thank you Amy. My goal is once I get under 200, to never see it again. Thanks for being a cheerleader
 
It’s 6:30 am and I am up drinking my Lemon water. Hopped on the scale and I am 216. Slow and steady wins the race!
I am going to go for a 30 minute walk because I am just recovering from a cold. Before I head out I want to prep food for today to prevent falling off even before I start.
Today’s goal
1. Drink a Gallon of water
2. Do not engage in negative talk
3. 1 hour of activity today

Woot!! Woot! Thanks for the warm welcome, wish I wasn’t back under these conditions but I always felt a special bond with this forum even when just reading and. It posting!
 
good luck... not as easy as it sounds.
i usually get about 3/4 the way there.
I purchased a gallon jug and always stayed on track then it broke lol! I’m at around 1/2 right now due to being locked in Office working on some high priority work!!! Slow and steady!!!
 
Happy to report I went to the gym today and it felt awesome. That 0545 wake up is hard but worth it because I can’t convince myself to workout after work. It’s 1955 and my Apple Watch says I burned almost 1200 move calories alone.
So excited to be feeling great today!
 
Terrific about the early morning workout, and about feeling great. I do the 5:45 wake-up, too, but my session is less workout and more gentle stretching and bending. :)
