You're NOT the first person to tear their ACL just walking around; usually means it'd been fraying for a while. Best of luck with rehab.
Prob just going to take care of it myself. Not fond of doctors. The only reason i see mine so much is we're related.
Prob all the mental hospital stuff. Being looked at like an experiment kinda sours your view.

I knew you could tear an ACL with heavy sports but not just by moving the wrong way.
 
That sucks about your ACL Rebel! Is it possible to take care of this on your own?
 
I've got to find some metric measuring cups and spoons. I don't bake much anymore so mine have walked off..taking ml and converting it to ounces so i can figure out a tablespoon.......uggggggg
 
In Australia a tablespoon is 4 teaspoons!
1 teaspoon = 5 ml
1 dessert spoon = 10 ml
1 tablespoon = 20 ml

Today was ok but didnt do much. Knee has been....wow..
Did manage 3 meals so that's something at least.

Breakfast- German pancake with sugar free syrup.
[Need to find a low carb flour option]

Lunch- Mess in a bowl but it was good.
9oz chicken wing meat, onion, red pepper, brown rice single, sour cream.
[Got some light olive oil hot, put in cumin, corrander, paprika, added onions and pepper, then added chicken meat till it was all yummy, dumped over rice and topped with sour cream]

Dinner- Protein shake.
2 servings of chocolate protein powder, 2 cups of almond milk, 3oz banana, 1 egg.

No calories today; or at least, I have no idea what they were.
Breakfast was a large double portion protein shake and that was about 900 calories.
Dinner was salmon something. I dont remember the name but it was broiled and topped with a sauce that had crawfish, crab, and shrimp. The side dish was steamed asparagus drizzled with a lemony cream cheese sauce.

So all and all, it was an ok day.
 
Just an ehhh day. Gearing up for two projects due on monday, so reading a bunch. Ohhhh i hate all the reading...

Breakfast- Basic protein shake.
2 servings of chocolate protein powder, 2 cups of almond milk. (300 calories)

Lunch- 8oz broiled ground steak.(567 calories)
[ I think I was craving beef. No sauces or anything else, just hot drippy beef.]

Dinner- 5 scrambled eggs, 4 slices of xtra thick black pepper bacon.(710 calories)

Oh, Rebel. Where oh where are the vegetables & fruit? :svengo:
But.....well done on eating sufficient calories to sustain you :)
