Plenty of time with the tv remote but I dont think that counts.
I'm going to have to force myself to start walking. I know most of the problem is the absolutely no exercise thing. I think I still see myself at 500 pounds and have convinced myself I can't exercise.
 
Activating your muscles is definitely helpful to burn more energy. As long as you haven´t started that I don´t want you to complain about your weight loss anymore! /strictmomvoice

But seriously: it´s not just about weight loss. You really don´t want to be losing muscle mass rather than fat.

Yes, yes you do. Just move Rebel- whenever you can. Walk a little bit further each time. It will make such a difference & will make you feel better xo
 
Today was ok just the depression is still hanging on. Gael wants to do something for my birthday....well, today since it's already 4am. I'm not really feeling it. I guess I'm at the age where birthdays just aren't a good day.
I didn't have dinner tonight but lunch was 1 pound plus 4 ounces of baked chicken breast. Lunch was at 8pm so I'm sure thats why im not hungry. I was craving some chicken parm so I low carbed it a bit. So I baked the breast then topped it with marinara and probably way too much fresh grated parm and then pop it in the broiler till it was all ooey and gooey. It was better than I thought it was going to be. I missed the bread crumb crunch but other than that it was spot on.
I dropped my bmr/calorie goal some due to the carb sensitivity thing. Just experimenting with the numbers I guess.
Well, we'll see how tomorrow/today goes.

Food...

Breakfast- Scrambled eggs with salsa, plain bagel with cream cheese and chives. (685 Calories)

Lunch- Baked chicken parm; 20 ounces chicken breast, 1/4 cup marinara, 2 ounces fresh parmesan. (671 Calories)

Dinner- (0 calories)

Calorie limit 2648
Calories === 1356
Total= -1292
 
Wow, congratulations on losing the 119 pounds! I'm sure you will really enjoy getting out and walking and feeling the change.
 
Hm... I´m going to hypothesize that less bagels and more leafy green veggies would do your metabolism more good than dropping your calores even further. Especially in the long run. You´re getting a good thing going with a wonderful woman so it´s not enough to look at how fast you can get to a lower weight - you need to think about sustainability. Sorry to nag, but it sometimes feels like you´re looking for excuses to drop your calories and not work out more.

The veggies yesterday were lite. That was mostly due to the bagel. I try to keep my carbs less than 50 and 100 at the absolute top end. The bagel and salsa on the eggs and marinara I was already at 66. That's the main reason I really didn't have fruit or veggies yesterday. I rarely eat anything made with white flour but I really wanted the bagel even though I knew the carbs were going to be redonculous.

Gael really has nothing to do with trying to lose weight faster. I would just really like to see 2 pounds a week or so.

Now about your nagging..... Please don't stop... I need it sooooo..... :)
 
O, o, I know an idea! Can we remind you regularliest that you are a badass who just lost ONEHUNDREDANDNINETEEN bloody pounds and who can now walk around and enjoy life and feel his body in more ways than just pain and annoyance? You know, I could try not to nag too much about your calories (because you´ve internalized the words of the calorie police magnificently) and instead nag about how awesome your new body is and all the great things it could be doing? That´s kind of, sort of, a little bit my day job and I´m probably more passionate about it than I should be :p
 
Today was tense. Nothing bad I guess, just locked inside my own head. So it was mostly just bipolar stuff I guess. Didn't do anything for my birthday so we will probably go do something next weekend.
Carbs were pretty high today. Well, not real bad. I ended up with 97 net carbs. Brown rice, beans.... Yea I can see that. I think they were pretty good carbs minus the BBQ sauce. I went really light on the sauce since they tend to be pretty sweet.

Food.....

Breakfast- 5 espresso shot soy flat white. (235 Calories) / yea, its that kind of day. \

Lunch- Burrito bowl; brown rice, pinto beans, grilled onions and bell peppers, salsa, sour cream, cheese, guacamole. (894 Calories)

Dinner- 15.5 ounces baked chicken breast with 1 tablespoon of BBQ sauce,1 sliced tomato. (471 calories)

Birthday yesterday? Happy Birthday! Did you see your lady friend? What do you normally do for birthdays?

Burrito bowl sounds good..I like making those :) I usually form a wrap around a ball of tin foil in the oven so they are shaped like little cups and then fill them with deliciousness (and CHEESE). Your calories are too low but you know this. We nag because we care <3 x
