This is not my first rodeo with a diary on this forum. I fell off the wagon on the last one, so I decided to start fresh. I live in Florida and we just finished getting slammed by hurricane Irma. However, all is ok here. We actually have power back on already. It's been a scary/stressful week though. The people in the keys definetly got it a lot worse than here. My heart is heavy for them.

That being said, my husband and I just booked a cruise for November 24th and I would like to be at my goal by then. I've spent one too many vacations feeling self conscious about my body and I want this one to be different. I want to be able to throw on a bikini, hang by the pool, dress up at night, take pictures and feel confident and beautiful during it all. I have 74 days from today to make that happen. Ready, set, go!

Current weight: 128.5 lbs
Goal weight by 11/24/17: 115 lbs
 
Welcome back. I'm glad that things went ok with you with the hurricane. They must be very scary! 74 days to lose 13.5lbs? That should be doable. What are your plans to lose it?

Thanks Cate. My plan is to just remain consistent with a calorie deficit and get in plenty of exercise.
 
Well, I guess I took a few more days to continue the fun before officially hopping back on the wagon. Happy to report though that today, I'm back on track. Went grocery shopping a bought healthy meals for the week, did some meal prep, and I'm ready to kick ass. Cruise is 68 days away and I have about 14lbs to lose. I can do this!

9/17/17, 128.6 lbs

Food:
2 fig energy balls - 130
5 grilled chicken wings - 400
PB crackers - 120
Mushrooms (1 cup) - 16
Red pepper (1 cup) - 30
Baked chicken (125g) - 200
Chardonnay (9oz) - 225
Vodka (2oz) - 128

Exercise:
2 miles on treadmill @ 4 mph
Knee ups - 10
Backwards knee ups - 10
Ball feet lifts - 10
Squats - 10
db straight up - 10
db fwd lift - 10
db curl - 10
db behind head - 10
Hip lift back on ball - 10
Hip lift legs on ball - 10
Dead lifts - 10

I probably could have done with less alcohol today, but it's Sunday and Sundays are usually high alcohol days. I forgive myself. I may even have a bit more before the day is over as it's only 4pm. I'm about 1200 calories, so I can afford it. We shall see.

My goal is to keep my calories between 1200-1400 per day for the next 68 days while getting in cardio and strength training at least 5 days per week. If I can stick with this, I know I will get to my goal of 115 by the cruise.

I ate a LOT more after that post. 130.5 this morning. Today is a new day and hopefully I can stay on track since I'll be at work all day.
