There are officially 41 days until my cruise. No more excuses. No more cheating. Self control is the name of the game from here on out. I refuse to spend another vacation being too self conscious to be in a bathing suit and enjoy myself. This time I am making it happen. My long term goal is still 115, but I am adjusting my cruise goal to 120 due to the fact that I don't think I can lose more than 2 lbs per week. I'll be happy if I can get to 120 by the cruise and then I can focus on getting to 115 after that with no time constraints. I am literally out of days to screw up. Every single day counts at this point.

Exercise: 8.5 miles on bike

Ok, so I joined Freeletics today which is a high interval training program app and HOLY SHIT did it kick my ass. Today was day 1 and I can barely move, but I feel so empowered for pushing through to the end. My arms and legs are jelly. I'm going to break down all of the exercises I did today, but I'm not sure that I will do that every day. I will more than likely just put "Day __ Freeletic Video" and that signifies that I went through the hell that is all the exercises I'm about to write. Well, it won't be the exact same ones as they switch daily, but it's all similar. As someone who has only ever done cardio and is not even overweight, I cannot believe how out of shape I am. It's exciting though because there's plenty to build on.

If diving push-ups are what I think they are they're killers. Best of luck with the program!
They are killers and those and the actual pushups were the most difficult moves of them all. I had to modify- there was no way I could complete the actual move.

Ok, first things first.. WOW am I sore. I can barely walk and just existing is currently painful lol. All day I was looking forward to doing my Freeletics day 2 video after work, but the reality is that if I can barely manage to simply walk due to the DOMs, then I have no sane reason to attempt day 2 today. I took Advil this morning around 2am and then walked 3 miles on the treadmill at 5am. I usually only do 2 miles. I am thinking perhaps the advil and adrenaline from being so pumped over yesterdays work out gave me a false sense of security and I over did it by doing 3 miles less than 13 hours after yesterday's fresh pile of hell. So, yeah I am taking today off of Freletics and hope the pain subsides enough to pick up tomorrow. I would still call today a "good" day by all measures. Too much alcohol as normal, but other than that I am pleased with myself. The fact that my weight has jumped down by pretty large amounts for 3 days in a row leads me to believe tomorrow could show an increase or simply stay the same if I'm lucky (I'm thinking increase). Either way, it's understandable as there's no way I've lost 5lbs of actual fat in 4 days, so things are most likely still evening out now that I'm enforcing some self control and not stuffing my face 24/7.

I'm pretty happy and I feel like I finally have things under control (except the alcohol, but one thing at a time). I'm really excited about my next Freeletics work out and truly hope this pain is gone by tomorrow!
 
Yeah, that´s the downside of that kind of plan: they don´t factor in recovery time, which is especially tough if you´re not used to the kind of work-out you´re getting. Taking every other day off is definitely a good idea and walking or biking usually works for active recovery on the other days.

I am seriously in love with these Freeletic work outs. They're short yet intense and leave me feeling super accomplished. I feel like I could actually look good in a bikini/naked by cruise time. That's an awesome thought. I'm really proud of myself for managing to do the treadmill before work and these work outs after work instead of going straight to the couch and wine. I pray I can keep it up. I've actually been looking forward to it all day this week. Calories are kind of low today, but my husband is cooking chicken enchiladas and I am bound to have a few bites which will add to them. I can definitely afford it given all my exercise! All in all, another good day. Feeling great.
 
You really are doing well. You might want to consider eating a little more if your goal is to do your Freeletics plan every day or you risk crashing face-first into a chocolate cake on day one of the cruise.

10 cossack squats (modified to regular squats because I couldn't do them)

Diving push up 10 (modified this and did 5 burpees instead. I can't even do 1 regular pushup...(YET!))

I knew my daily loss would come to a halt eventually. Went up by almost a pound today which is extremely frustrating seeing how I've been giving this my blood sweat and tears for almost a week now. Okay, I feel a little ridiculous when I put it like that. It's only been 6 days going all in and I started at 133 6 days ago. I can't complain and need to be patient! This is a journey not a sprint. I just have to stay consistent and have faith that if I make the right choices every day, it will pay off. I know I need to eat a little more. Tomorrow I'm going to try to add quinoa and sweet potato to my meals to up the calories/carbs. I've never worked out so hard in my life. I just want this transformation so bad. One day at a time.
