Rebel's Diary

Pretty amazing work there, buddy :grouphug:
I lost my taste for black tea years ago but herbal infusions are awesome.
Black tea is like coffee's distant cousin so its a must. The herbals are a good change once in awhile. Sometimes i will mix the herbal into the full on tea; just to soften it abit.

Everything is going pretty well health wise. I'm thinking it'll be time for a vacation this time next year; maybe march. I have always loved the beach so i thinking Jamaica. It would be easier to take a cruise but that only gives you a few hours to look around. I think I'd rather fly so i can stay for 5 days or so. There are alot of great beaches all over the world but Jamaica and the Cayman islands i have been too and they are great.

Sounds like a great reward and an awesome reason to continue to get fitter: being able to try all the fun stuff beaches have to offer. Are you a sun worshiper or do you prefer to be on the move?

A little of both i suppose. I love fishing and swimming but i like to look around in places i haven seen before.

I loved seeing this!
Flying & getting to see more when we get there is what G & I like to do. Also, cruises are death to eating & drinking in any sort of moderation. I think the average is half a kilo gained per day. EEK! No thanks.

So true.... When i took the cruise to Jamaica it was all about food and shopping. Shopping i love but the food was crazy. Absolutely none healthy. Not that i remember anyhow. Flying up and hotel will cost more than a cruise but should b better.

Just got back from lunch with a friend of mine no harm done i had a greek salad. She's a personal chef so our conversations tend to revolve around food. Any way i found out the eggplant throw together i make is actually something called a ratatouille. You learn something different every day

I really dont like "diet" products but i really wanted a glass of sweet tea so i picked up some stevia......BLEEECK..
Next time I'll sacrifice for a few spoons of real sugar.thats the good thing about not being on "a diet." I can do what i want :p

Now that my BMR is much lower im really having to watch my calorie levels......no fun.

Breakfast- Baked Chicken breast, egg whites with onions and peppers, glass of 2% milk. (909 calories)

Lunch-Panera Greek salad. (400.calories)

Dinner-baked chicken breast, diced potato with butter and sour cream, 1 apple. (609 calories)

BMR- 2570
Cals- 1918
Total= -752

Having cheffy friends can't be a bad thing :p
Your bmr is bound to go down slowly as you lose weight but big sudden drops in the number would be illogical. As you get more active the difference between basic metabolic rate and actual calories burned is bound to increase, by the way, plus your calories were often very low already so I think you can ignore it for now.

There wasn't really anything wrong it was just a random pondering. When i put in my new weight it generated my new bmr of 25something but then i went to their site and put it myself and it was 28something. Just something i found quite odd.

With my bad experience with the sugar substitute yesterday i added a tablespoon of sugar to my tea this morning and OMG. To everyone elae sugar is just sugar for for me it's a delicacy...

Real sugar beats any artificial sugar I know, hands down. I'm getting more and more hooked on high-quality fruit though, which is strangely satisfying.

Yea i know what u mean. I went the longest time without fruit. Now apples and pears i love. Now I've got this weird craving for melons. Cantelope watermelon honeydew i really dont care i just really really want one.

I got some good news yesterday. My doctor called with the results of some bloodwork i had done. My sugar level was perfectly normal. :)

That´s so awesome!

Melons are so hard to get here until the height of summer. Or, actually, you can get them but they´re rock hard and tasteless :(

Here it's nice. We can get them year round. The warmer climate i guess. They seem sweeter spring to summer but evenin the winter they r good.

Melons are fairly tasteless here all year 'round :( Lucky you Rebel, although I don't think I would like to swap climates :)
