If MyFitnessPal doesn't or if you're like me and alter recipes or cook your own food, this website can be a lifesaver. I measure everything now - it goes right on the scale/measuring cups. It helps me see what my portions are and not just guess - If I can eat 2 tbsp of cheese, I want the full amount without going over but I want every morsel I can get.

It does seem overwhelming at first - it took me almost 2 months to like weighing and measuring my food - but it truly does get to be second nature and a lot easier/healthier!
Thanks for replying Samantha,I would definitely try it.

Hey everyone,Day 3 is here.
Weight-204 lbs (-2 lbs)
I can't post my dairy yesterday because I was really busy yesterday. I was invited to eat lunch at KFC but I refused and ate my own lunch.I didnt have much exercise as before because I felt tired I think this is because of drastic diet and exercise change.
What I ate -
Breakfast- 1 egg and mango smoothie
Lunch- Veg Noodles ( I used rice noodles with capsicum, carrot, spring onion, soya sauce, green chilli sauce, salt and pepper)
A banana
Dinner- 1 cup rice with kidney beans curry
1 overnight oats with sliced bananas
that's all I ate yesterday
Exercises-
2 mile walking
9 minutes cardio from fitness blender ( I could have done 30 minutes but my legs were paining)
that's all the exercise I did which I think is not so much.
I think I should increase my calorie intake because I was pumped up to do exercise but was tired very soon.I ate no roti today because I didn't have time to make the dough.hope today I will eat nicely and do more exercise, and I will update my dairy tonight.
Thank you for reading.

Its pretty common to feel a lack of energy when you start a diet. It has always happened to me anyhow. I think the fewer calories is a shock to the system.
If it persist you can get you a daily milti vitamin and that should help.

Maybe you could count your calories for a couple of days to see if they´re generally about right. I think it´s more likely that your body is just tired from the unaccustomed exercise and needed a bit of a rest. Hope you´ll feel better tomorrow!

Hey everyone,
From today I decided to weight only once in 3 days so I will post the weight on 21 Jan 17.I took this step because of my improper bowel movement, water weight and things like that.
Last time I weighted myself - on 17 January- 204 lbs
What I ate today-
Breakfast- 1 egg
1 whole wheat toast with peanut butter
Lunch- spinach and mushroom wrap with yogurt
A banana
Dinner-cup of rice with paneer curry.
that's all I ate
Exercises I did-
2 miles walking
3 miles cycling
30 minutes cardio at home.
Today,I didn't feel tired at all actually I feel quite energetic and did all my workouts nicely.only thing that bothered me is the 2 lbs weight gain I got today from which I decided to measure weight not that frequently.I will continue healthy eating and exercise and hope result will get better on 21 Jan.
Thanks for reading.

Hi abhay. I'm glad you have more energy. Our weight varies so much from day to day so it is much better to weigh less often unless you are able to not worry about fluctuations. I have trouble with that even though I know it's not logical. If you continue with your healthy eating, making sure to eat enough calories & continue exercising you will lose weight. Have you tried inputting what you eat into My Fitness Pal. They do have Indian food in their data base as I checked it out. You will get used to working out which option to choose from the choices there. It gets easier as you go. Cheers, Cate

Hey cate, the only thing that stoped me from using my fitness pal is that i doubted if it has diverse amount of Indian foods in their database or not, so if they have Indian food I would love to record my calorie intake there.thank you.
