Day 37

Yesterday was a good day. I have breakfast and dinner planned for today and thought I might buy some sushi for lunch so I dont have to cook. Im catching up with a friend tomorrow for lunch am looking forward to it, just have to decide what im eating before I go.
 
Hi Katy. Planning is key & you are doing well. Can you look up the restaurant you are going to tomorrow to see what's on the menu? I love Sushi. Whenever I read "sushi" I want some! I had some dolmades with my lunch though, so am not feeling too deprived :D
 
What Cate said. We do have some lovely parks around here, but I miss being able to go for an hour in the woods every morning before work...

Day 38
Yesterday was good. Ive started going for a 10 min walk either before breakfast or straight after and its a great way to start the day right even if im pushed for time
That short walk combined with shopping and household chores it was very easy to make it past 10,000 steps. I spent some time in the garden and cleaned heaps, ate quite well so it was a very positive day. Heres to today being the same!
 
Well done you! Ten minutes here and there can add up quickly - and it doesn´t feel as hard as doing everything at once.
 
38 days! Way more good ones than bad ones!

Day 39

Yesterday was good, didnt get hot chips at lunch! Feeling way more positive this week compared to last week. I wont be working as much next week so should find more time for exercise

I have constantly been on google when reading diaries converting pounds to kgs!
 
Cut out bread for one week Katy & then I bet you it will be a dress size. 5kg is good. I would love to lose just 5kg more.......

Gah bread... My favourite.
Ive cut out pasta, rice most of the time and only having 1 piece of bread every few days

And Im not at 5kg lost yet only 4 dont jinx it haha!

Cate whenever I read your diary it seems like you gave a lot of stress in your life, I think id really struggle not to put on weight in that situation.
I thought of something random the other day- when I think of people on the forum I always picture them as a healthy ideal weight, I must have a lot of faith that everyone will meet their goals! I see Brawny as strong and determined
Cowboy as a super athlete
LaMa as an independent strong woman riding a bike!!
Mowens as a family man who will keep chipping away at it until he gets there
And you Cate as such a caring and supportive person enjoying nature and loving time with the grandkids and wishing I could slap the people you golf with haha!
that might be weird for people to read how I picture them and I havent described everyone so apologies for any weirdness/discomfort caused from my random thoughts of you
 
That's really nice of you, Katy :grouphug: Come to mention it: my mental image of the folks on here is also a group of fit, healthy people. And I'm one of them; that's pretty awesome.
 
Day 40

Busy day today and tomorrow will be the same.... Looking forward to doing a whole lot of nothing on Saturday.
Ive eaten ok today and need to make my lunch for tomorrow im glad I have all the ingredients already otherwise Im sure I wouldnt be bothered to do it.

Thanks Katy. Unfortunately I am not a super athlete. I only wish. Funny how we picture people that we 'talk' to on here. I think if you met me your image of me would be tarnished-haha. I grew up very heavy and am only now realizing what exercise can do for me- all at 55 years. I think I am trying to get my youth back some days by pushing myself beyond what most of the people my age do. I guess you can say that I found a great passion with exercise that I could never do when I was younger. Some days I think - I am waaaaayyyyy too old to be doing this. Then when I am done, I think well I guess I wasn't too old-lol. Self validation I guess plays a part of it.

You are doing a great job. Keep up the good work!
 
Day 43
Missed the last couple of days on here, have been busy but Im still going well
Weigh in day today lost 1kg so now 75kg. Im excited to keep going day after day and hope to keep seeing results, if so I will definitely be where I want to be by the end of the year which is a lovely thought
 
Day 44
Had a lovely sleep in this morning.
Everythings on track, Im feeling determined and the wedding Im going to is in 2 weeks so Im using that for extra motivation
Aim for today- go for a walk before and after work or if its raining do something inside
