I won't have access to a gym (weights) for 3 weeks what can I do instead?

I won't have access weights for 3 weeks, what can I do to stay in shape, and not loose everything I've gained?

I know I can do push-ups... I really can't do pull-ups without being assisted.

Any suggestions ?

Thx.

Bodyweight exercises and plenty of protein can help maintain your muscle while you have no access to a gym. You can do some Pushups, pull-ups, scap pushups, squats, lunges. If you workout out hard for some months then go ahead and take a rest.

btw how come you won't have access to weights. vacation I'm guessing?

Cool thanks for the input...

I'm going down to my uncle's place and I won't have access to a car... so yeah vacation... I'm also going to Cape Cod with them and don't know what the situation will be there. I'll probably focus on cardio and loosing some weight.

Thanks again.

Maybe spend the time focusing on increasing the amount of chin-ups you can do? I hear a lot of stories of people just doing chin-ups whenever they pass a bar and before you know it they are doing 20 unassisted.

enjoy your trip!

It's only 3 weeks so there shouldn't be a problem; if you've been working out regularly then it might just do you some good.

My biggest strength gain happened during my last week off! I must have been overtraining before and some time out of the gym allowed my body to recover.

If you want to keep on top of things though then just try body weight exercises like chins, dips, press ups and squats.

In addition to the exercises mentioned above include things like mountain climbers, bicycles, crunches, jumping jacks, jump squats, lunge jumps and squat thrusts.
