pendley's 5x5 routine calls for me doing rows on mondays and fridays. chinups are done only on wednesdays.

SO my question is: can i substitute chinups for wherever rows are? so i would be doing chinups 2x a week on monday and friday? would it ruin the routine? i like working on my chinups and i feel they are much more effective than rows so what do you think? should i just keep it the same?
