Leg/Calf Question. Help ?????

Hi,

I am buying some home cardio exercise equipment. I want to workout my legs as best as I can especially my calfs when I am doing the cardio training. What piece of equipment will best work out my calfs/legs ? Which would you recommend ?
1)A Treadmill
2)An Exercise bike
3)An Elliptical Trainer
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

The exercise bikes are worthless IMO, they don't work you hard at all, I could probably sit on one of those for hours. An elliptical trainer puts less stess on your knees, I believe. But I think the Treadmill will be the best cardio machine. But you should also look into a stairmaster, they tire out your calves pretty quickly.
 
Even still, none of those are really enough to cause significant damage to the leg muscles which in turn would build muscle. Spend the money on dumbells so you can do lunges, and a barbell with weights for squats and deadlifts...your legs will love you.
 
a traditional stairmaster is the only thing that'll really let you work your calves...but even then it'll only be your bodyweight...which you'll quickly surpass.

nothing works muscles like weight training. nothing.
