Hip Exercises (any for hip rotation, hip extensors, hip flexors?

You'll have to be more specific about the scenario. What exercises, what kind of weight/reps, where's the pain happening, etc.

My weakness is getting to the ball in time and timing it as well. sometimes I just freeze until it comes if I'm suppose to go back for the ball or forward for it when I'm not expecting it. It has always happened to me.

and your back hurting, you may want to talk to a health person about that and it was probably from doing an exercise wrong. Always have to have the back straight in everything...especially abdominal and back exercises.

Nothing you do in the weight room will help you with this. Neither will speed/agility, for that matter.

You'll need to find drills that practice your reaction time/quickness. In other words, just practice with it.

thats just one of my main weaknesses and I think its a habit of fear of something happening or something?. my hitting is good because what I did in the fitness center on monday really got me to hit hard and far at practice today when the coach was underhanding a bucket to us, so I'm going to stick to my schedule from monday.

I do that every morning starting last thursday and I haven't really had much of an improvement yet. When I first started it was 16 letters, then the next 3 days were 19. I havent done it today or yesterday though because I have not seen any improvement on the field in that area. any good advice?

It sounds less like a vision issue than it does a fear/psyche-out problem.

The only way to counter that is by experience. Train it, train it hard, and train it to the point that you're not afraid of the catch.

When I go to the park with my mom, what do you think she should do for it to be "training hard"? she cant hit with the bat or throw overhand, so she does underhand to me. My hitting isnt a problem anymore, its really the reaction. and what was dumb of me was that I was focused way more on hitting more than vision, which vision and reaction is what I really need to work on more than anything. With that a weakness, I doubt I'll get much playing time at all or even a chance of making the team. Right now I don't think I'll do that well. I need to improve this quick. I am going to internet research for exercises.

Also - I'm taking art (Beginning drawing) and thinking about actually majoring in graphic design..and its mostly all vision. I'm an okay drawer and my focus is good for that, but its much different because I'm not trying to get ahold of a moving object or drawing a moving object.

and yeah the more I think about these things..the more I figure out what my weaknesses are. I may be a good hitter in batting practice, but if I do not locate the ball fast enough up to bat or in the outfield, I will not make the team or even if I do (according to at this second), I will hardly play. I have until December to show what I got and I need to get this fixed as fast as possible so I can make the team. I hope within a week because we have 4 more weeks of tournament games and these games are the ones that the coach looks at us the most a long with practice.

of course I will still lift. I did not say I will stop lifting unless something might of confused you in what I posted.

I need vision/reaction time exercises to include in as well with my weightraining. I bought a reaction ball online a while ago and that hasnt worked. it just frustraites me because it bounces around and I cannot react fast enough to get it after one bounce (its a ball with 6 balls on it together so it will bounce different directions every bounce).

Find somebody that can play with you on the level you need.

Seriously, this isn't just a motor-ability you have to train; you need to get comfortable actually batting.

I am comfortable batting and on the field. its just my reaction time is off. it has always been off on the field..but batting, I don't usually swing and I stand there and get nervous...thats why I walked a lot when I played little league and high school. when I do swing, I foul the ball off.
