My first diary post. Monday September 24th

-- How much weight do you want to lose? I want to lose at least 20lbs. 30 lbs would be even better!

-- What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight? I actually have a few goals... mini goal, then a target weight goal:
1) be down 12 lbs by 11/6 (I am going on vacation in 6 weeks)
2) be down 20 lbs by 11/22 (thanksgiving)
3) to maintain the total loss, possibly loose a bit more by Christmas
4) MAINTAIN my weight

-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)? I plan on following the weightwatchers plan for my diet. I find weightwatchers is do-able, and I have loss weight on it in the past. I am considering going back to ww meetings. Meetings help keep me on track - and when I stop going to meetings - I slack on the program. I also love to jog- and have gotten out of the habit of jogging. So, while the weather is still nice (before winter) I want to get back into jogging. I also like aerobics classes that are offered in my area - and hope to get back into it!

-- Who or what can support you in reaching your goal? I feel this forum/website will help support me. I also am fortunate to have friends and family to help. And- my own goals to help. I have a vacation coming up - and will be in a bathing suit!!!!!!

-- How realistic is your goal? I feel I am realistic about my goals - I know about 2 lbs a week is a reasonable weight loss - and that is what I am shooting for!

-- When will you start? RIGHT NOW! (even though I had not figure friendly left over chinese food for breakfast this morning... I am going to start NOW - the rest of the day, I will eat healthy - and I will get out for a walk after work - and hopefully jog a little... )


I have to do this - I want to do this! I need to start feeling better physically, and also feeling better about myself!

GO ME!!!
 
Tuesday, Sept 25

Well - I said I was going to start yesterday.... and really didn't. I am so weak - and getting started is the hardest part.

But - I am determined to start today. Starting with a low point breakfast, and hope to walk on my lunch break.

I have to start now - my vacation will be here in 6 weeks, and I don't want to look like I do now for it!

So - I will do this!
 
weds 9/26

I did great yesterday. I was within my points - and I also got in some exercise. So - I feel back on track and plan to keep it up.

I feel a head cold coming on though - a bit of a sore throat...hope I can fight it off. Being sick won't help matters.

thats it for now...
 
Thursday 9/27

yup! Still on track and feeling good about it! I have lost a little weight... and know I can lose a lot more - if I just stick to it.

I am especially proud of myself because it has been a stressful week - and normally that would be enough to send me on an eating binge!

But - I am determined to do this!

Ok - that's if for now!

How are you? Sounds like you are giving it a go ..and starting good ... really good ...

I hope you reach your goals the way you wish, but if you don't meet right up to the exact pounds, don't get discouraged ..just continue ...

but I know you can do it ...

Still on target! And I am feeling better and better about myself...

I am especially proud that I did so well this week - considering I have been ill and super stressed! So... YAY ME!

I haven't done much for exercise, but that is ok... I will get into it slowly but surely. But - diet has been on track.. and that is most important for me right now.

I am planning on attending a ww meeting tomorrow am. And looking forward to it! It has been awhile... and the meetings really help me to stay on track.

haven't posted in a while... Oct 22nd

hello weight loss diary... I AM BAAAA>>>CKK!

I have maintained my 168lb. SO that is good. BUT, I haven't loss any more weight since my last post. I have 2 weeks until my vacation... and really want to just slim down a tad. Well.. truthfully, I want to slim down as much as I possibly can!

I am on track today. I plan on eating super healthy the next two weeks. I will continue to follow ww, but a modified version... I want to limit carbs. Use my daily ww points for nothing but real healthy food. No junk.

I also plan on getting in that exercise!!! At least 2-3 times a week.

So here we go again!
