Yes, i am endomorph :(

Ok, i dont know if i am in the right forum, but i still have to ask:D ( and excuse my poor english. )

As you see in the title i am endomorph, and i hate it >.<.
I am 15 years old, i am 69.3 inches (176cm) tall, and i weight 162.8 lbs (73kg). (yeah i am from EU and i was using calculator to get inch and lbs XD )

From last week, i have started eating healthy ( no junk food, sweets, ice cream and stuff ) and i have been running and going to fitness ( one day running, other day fitness, and then again next day running and so on... ). And one day per week i rest.

I am wondering , if its possible for me, to get more or less atheltic shape of body, and if is there any chance to improve my workout.

__
I hate ma body, because i look like pear at this time.
I belive i have most of my fat in stomach area :confused4:

Thanks for feedback!

just because you are overweight doesn't make you an endomorph, any more than a skinny dude is an ectomorph.

Toss those ideas out the window, they'll just get in the way.

Eat right. Eat the RIGHT amount of calories to support your goals.
Exercise! both cardio and strength training (its hard to stay slender if you lack good muscle mass)

Hi

Hey LG,

I'm by no means an expert, but, from the advice I've been given in the past few days off here, it would be good for people to know exactly what you're doing on those days. It might be that you're doing too much, or even not enough - both are going to make you feel like you're going nowhere and encourage you to give up...and noone wants to give up!

Maybe you could post what your regime is when you workout? Start a Journal and get on this MoFo!

An as for all that stuff about body types, it may have some truth in it, but it wasnt very helpful when the guy at my last gym told me I was an ectomorph, with wierd dog eyes, as if I was going to fail at it. I did. Fook them, concentrate on your goals, I believe anyone can get into shape -- so can you :action11:

Ok, thanks for advice :D And one more thing... what is it "regime" ? :eek2:

thanks >.<

your routine.

like
Monday: i do bench press, curls, skullcrushers and pull ups

Tuesday: football practice (or swimming, or jogging, etc)

try to be more specific, and include how long you're doing these activities. some people think a 5 minute walk is 'good exercise'...and other people don't realize how brutal 2 hours of training is on the body.

LGPOWAH,once you start eating clean and exercising ( as you have), everything will fall in place for you, and knowing your body type is very helpfull in adjusting your nutrition and cardio.

Eat healthy, eat less calories then your body needs in order to lose fat..exercise with both cardio & weights...and your body will become athletic. Your body is what you make of it. It comes easier to some, but we're each dealt our genetic cards and it's up to each of us to make the most with what we have.

BIKE, well done! YOU do the best with what you have (that is where body type,s come in ) work with what you have.======= thank you!

We all work with what we have. Body type has nothing to do with it. You seriously need to get away from even thinking about your body type. As long as it is in your head you will use it for an excuse to explain a lack of results.

TENPERCENT, i do not have a problem getting results, infact my goal is to compete in BB in my age group, and if everything go,s as it has been, that will be in 6 months.AND it all come,s from understanding my BODY TYPE, yes it is in my head and it works!

What tenpercent is trying to convey (and please correct me if I'm wrong tenpercent) is don't let that limit you. More people will use "body type" as an *excuse* for the results they see if it isn't going as expected. He is saying don't let the idea that you have a certain body type get in the way of you striving for a better, healthier, stronger, body and reaching your goals....

THANK you NOLOVELOST,but yes i understand that, i do not let my body type get in the way of my goals. YOU bring up a very good point, i do see people in the gym do that, and as a result they there body will never change, and never reach there potential. ==== WORK HARD AND EXPECT RESULTS !

You, personally may not have an issue with that, but it is obvious the OP does, and he is letting it get in his way of trying to achieve a reachable goal. He needs to work on what he wants to achieve and not worry about body type.

When you are just starting out it really needs to be kept simple. Too much complexity and you will see a lot of people give up. It's like taking classes, you have to go chapter by chapter to understand an grow into the whole process to do it right and continue to expand your knowledge.

So *for him* he needs to let go of the whole "body type" issue, and focus on the basics....
