I managed to lose 5lbs this week.

Daily goals:
1) 2 bottle of water (I usually drink more water than that anyway since that's what I drink at work)
2) Run 1 mile every day (I used to do this but quit and gained some weight back)
3) Eat small meals (try to)

More tomorrow
 
welcome to your diary texan. so how much calories are you consuming daily. what's your height, weight?

My calorie intake is higher than it should be. I need to get down to about 2,000 a day.

My weight is 270 now and my height is 6'3" or 190cm :)
 
Congrats on your weight loss so far! Welcome to WLF!!

What part of God's Country are you in? I grew up in northeast Texas and will make it back there someday.

Well, I went to the Army recruiter yesterday and he told me that they don't go by height and weight, but instead by bodyfat. He said the max bodyfat one can have is 26%. The reason for this is because Basic Training is so intense that by the time most guys get out, they're down to 20% bodyfat or less anyway.

He measured my bodyfat, and I was 28%. So it looks like I've got about 10 more lbs to lose and then I'm off to Basic Training. :cool:
