Wrist Pain!

when i do bench press, immediatly after, i experience a pain in my wrist(left), its not a muscle b/c i would know the burn. but its only been getting worse, it usually comes when i rep @ 245 or above.. the obvious solution is just dont do that weight, but my goals require me to.. so im wondering if anyone has any other advice! anything is greatly appreciated!

see a ciropractor, see if they can help, mostly they can. that's how i fixed my wrist pain, but i injured it a different way, puching with heavy dumb bells, dumb huh lol

the one i saw did acupuncture on me. and shoved his fingers in my wrist ouch lol but it;s all good now

FYI- Chiropractors do not have any actual medical training and are generally taught to treat back injuries.
I would recomend seeing a doctor and having him refer you to an orthopedic if he cannot help you. :)

RedT - Not to sound standoffish, but that statement about Chiropractors not having medical training is pretty much dead wrong. Chiropractors are taught medicine, they are not taught traditional Western medicine though. Chiropractors are taught to heal the body holistically, using "chi" or energy pathways and points through out the body.

I have personally had a great deal of success using chiropractors to treat a variety of issues, including muscular pain, joint pain and even the common cold.

Do a little bit more research before you make statements like that.

i have absolutely no clue, i dont do any sports or anything, so the only thing it could be is weightlifting.. kinda odd, doc says its because of my 'thin bone structure' (wasnt sure if i was supposed to be offended lol)but he says 4-5 weeks, and it should be stronger than before.. now i just have to find something to do for 4-5 weeks! the only exercises i can do are ones of a cable, where i put the strap on my lower forearm(curls, flys, etc) if anyone else knows any other exercises, it would be greatly appreciated!

if you have weak bones you should take come calcium or drink a bunch of milk. and i know how you feel "what the hell can i do for the next month" my feet are absolutely terrible born with them, and they get messed up all the time and im stuck on my ass being so bored.

you should have said "how would you like some thin bone structure right upside your head!!" :p

thats originally what the doctor said, was to take more calcium, i told him "i live on choc milk" (he laughed), seriously i drink 1/2 gallon in 2 days, i think that's enough, right?

went to the doc! he said it healed quicker than expected and i can go @ it 100%! finally working out without the forearm strap! ne ways i just thought id keep u guys posted..
