I recently bought two sets of wrist/ankle weights (Gold's Gym brand - 2.5kg on each of the four weights, adjustable at 0.5kg increments. 2.5kg is roughly 5 pounds). I've only had them a couple of days, and today i went for the longest walk i can remember, along the beach. An hour and a half, i think i was walking, 2.5 on each limb. Needless to say i now ache all over, in that kind of post-workout way. (I've only recently started excercising properly and eating properly). I'm just wondering, is this a good way to get rid of the fat on my abdomen? I don't want to walk for an hour and a half on sand every day for nothing, and I'm sick of being called pudgy
