WOW! Get motivated by lookin @ these pics!

I'm NOT a fan of the BL but I'm just curious as to what makes them motivating - those people wereput into pretty much a perfect situation where they'd have to be pretty pitiful to not have dramatic results.

How do they motivate you?

check some ofthe before ad after pictures in this forum -with people with real lives and real work got real results... without a ton of money thrown at them

:)
When I mean by MOTIVATION, it's the fact of them losing weight. Not looking at the program but the change in weight they went thru.

The fact that u arent a fan of the show, that doesn't mean it is not a good show and it doesn't mean that it wont motivate people that looks at it.

About the people in this forum, they are the biggest motivation for me, but these people in the BL are in the same line, dont u think? :)

Just b/c your on the BL doesn't mean you "have" to loose the weight either, I've seen a few people on the show not loose much weight by the end.

not even a little bit... no -

the contestants o the biggest loser are playing a game, in it for the money, sent away from the real world, put into a situation where they cannot fail... but yet some do..

People who consistently lose 2- 3 lbs a week, all the while holding down a job, raising a family, living a life i the real world figuring out what works on their own are far more impressive...

I dislike the entire biggest loser scene, but thats my opinion

anyways, im glad to see it motivates some people

The woman with that big sweater.. Wonder if she is wearing it because of how rapid the weight loss was. She might have some sagging skin.

I think it is motivational. especially when they show them after they have left and they have continued to lose weight.
Any kind of weight loss show encourages me as it makes me think of it more and put my heart into it to have the great feeling of looking and feeling better

^^^ definitely agree.. My ex used to be about 220-230 and is 5'7. She was overweight most of her life. She got a gastric bypass, and was down to about 140. I saw her before and after.

The bypass made her lose almost 100lbs in 2 months. I am not sure if it was that fast but you get what I am trying to say. It was a fast weightloss, and she has confidence issues now because of sagging skin.

I hope the women get the help they need with those issues too. It was as bad of a problem with my ex as her weight was. She was afraid of having sex.

A lot of the women on that page lost the weight real fast too, and watching the show last night I could see the skin tucked in under the clothes. I just hope NBC foots the bill for the skin removal.

I don't really follow the show - how long did it take them to lose 100+ pounds? Does the show go on for a year?

Start to finish is about 7 months, 4 on campus and about 3 at home, that is if you don't get voted out before the end, than its shorter on campus and longer at home. That's why the twin who won the at home money is actually a really good inspiration because he did what his brother did but by himself for most of the time at home.

I watch, I won't lie, but I know it's unrealistic. I hope people watch it with that in mind.
