workout routine....

My workout has been the same for a couple months.....
Monday- 40 mins on the elliptical, then abs, chest, triceps.
Tues- 40 mins elliptical, biceps, shoulders, back
Wed- 40 mins elliptical, quads, hams, calfs, abs
Thurs- 40 mins elliptical, and yoga (hour and a half)

I was just wonderin if anyone has any tips?? Am I missing anything? Or should I change anything up? I often miss my thursday cardio cuz I'm busy that day, but typically I use the elliptical 3 times a week....Is this enough?
 
Doing strength training before cardio has been suggested here on the boards to me, and that's what I do now. I also like to change up programs on the elliptical or do my cardio on different machines - right now I use the treadmill twice a week to prepare for a hike I'll be doing later this month. I also take spinning class twice a week as well.

As for strength training, I've been told that changing your exercises/program every 2-3 months is a good idea.
 
Variation is the trick. Not only you won't get bored, but you will not fall in the plateau. You also need to vary the weight you are lifting and the cardio. You can also incorporate pilates which is great!
