Workout for Football

I am currently a Defensive End and I'm not the brightest at making a workout schedule. If anyone could make me a 5-6 day workout schedule with sets and reps that would be perfect. I'm currently a sophomore if that helps. in High School that is

aight here is my two cents...I played football as a senior for my highschool last year which was vesry good, we sent like 5 kids D1 and my weightraing coach knows his stuff he's at FSU now...Anyway, they mainly had us focus on main strength lifts being Bench Press, Squats, Hang/Power Cleans...We usually would go 3x5 for all of those, then maybe check our max's after a few weeks...Obviously you need to do more than just that, but especially if you are a really good player and plan on going to the COMBINE you gonna have to do all those lifts...i think they see your max for like cleans and squat, and how many times you can rep 185 on bench... they'll also measure your vert, but lifts like squat will help with that...Obviously you also wanna keep in shap with running and whatnot, but I am sure your coaches condition you in practice

Hey!, I'm a defensive end and a sophmore also. How much do you weigh right now? I'm assuming your getting ready for varsity and its a big jump. Here are some goals you should set yourself for the general DE in Varsity:

1.) Weigh 160 or more
2.) Bench your bodyweight
3.) Squat twice your bodyweight
4.) Run a 4.8 40 or under

A little rigourous goals and I haven't meeten any of them except the first 1 and I'm close to the second one. Here is the workout I have been following lately.

Day 1- Full body weight lifting
Day 2- 25 Hills
Day 3- Full body weight lifting
Day 4- 25 Hills
Day 5- Full body weight lifting
Day 6- 25 HIlls
Day 7- rest

and then repeat. Your going to need some very strong legs. Hopes this help. It may seem like a little too much but your going to need the endurance.
