working out too much??

First and most importantly, you shouldnt just be working out 3 muscles. Not only will you look silly with big arms and a chest and chicken legs, this also hinders progress because youll hit plateaus a lot sooner if you arent working out full muscle groups. get a routine that works all muscle groups and focuses on big compound lifts.

Second, YES thats too much. Your muscles need a MINIMUM of 48 hours rest before you hit them again. Rest time between workouts is when all the magic happens. The actual workout breaks them down, but you need to give them time to grow back and get stronger. If you keep working them out, their is no chance for them to regrow.

No, wait, all that overtraining, the upper body will never grow. ;)
