Hey everyone, I figure its my time to give this a go once again. As Most people that try to lose weight they usually have the Intentions to start and never quite get there , or for whatever reason after whatever track of time they start to slip out of that momentum and break their diet and exercising. Well I told my self like many others that as of January 1st 2011 i would start my diet hard and start hitting the gym, well in theory it sounded like a great idea but ill admit it , i never really got serious about it. So now I'm going to give it a go again, i started My diet again on the Feb 1st 2011. only 5 days ago yes and I'm doing everything i can to battle through it. One thing that makes it different this time is i have one of my Best friends trying to do the same thing, We are both The same height and started off pretty much the same weight.
Figure ill tell a little about myself. My name is Chad I'm from Upstate NY, as of Feb 1st I weighed in at 228lbs at 5'5. As of this morning Feb 5th i weighed in at 223lbs so i have lost some weight so far and hope to continue the process. I have always been the short chubby guy all throughout school I played sports in high-school and i would have considered myself decent at them, i would like to get back into shape and start playing some recreational sports again. My ultimate goal is to get down to about 165lbs, So its definitely a lot to lose but its also a very doable goal. I have tried to lose weight before,
My heaviest point was when i was about 18 years old, at about 240lbs. Around that time my older brother had passed away and within about 3 or 4 months i was down to about 200lbs, without any diet or exercise. I'm not sure exactly how that happened the only thing i could think of would be stress related? About when i turned 22 i had gotten my own place and that's when a lot of ordering fast food came about and i put myself back up to about 230-235 range. Last year i decided i was going to hit the gym and diet and i brought myself down to about 215, but have since gained it all right back. So here i am now Starting on the 1st at 228 now at 223. Trying to get this going again.
I will Try to update this with a new weight every Sat. And maybe once a month update with a picture. Here are a couple of me at this current point in time.

Good luck! Its always so much nicer to lose weight with a friend! I always tend to suck it up it more like if I'm in a classroom full of people I will take it to the next level because I feel more pressure which isn't a bad thing :)
 
this week i had slacked was not able to make it to the gym at all, lost 1lb bringing me to 222, guess thats still better than gaining it all back though right?... its okay though this week will be a good week im thinkin
 
LMAO! My my that is hilarious. But on a more serious note, sorry about your brother and I hope you can reach your goals :) You can do it!

well not much of a loss this week either, as i slacked on hitting the gym, just been really busy but on a side note i did lose a few lbs, down to 219, every lb counts
