which plates????? HELP

at hibets, VTX 45lb (grey) weight plates are 37.80 each... (.84 cents a lb)

at walmart the 45lb golds gym plates (black) are 29.54 (65 cents a lb)


I already have VTX plates and they seem really good, IDK about the gold's gym plates...


thats a big price difference. I would probably get 4 golds gym plates and only 2 of the VTX plates depending on what I got....


HELP???
 
plates are plates. as long as they all fit the same bar diameter (olympic) does it really matter? its gonna boil down to your personal preference.

i'm used to old school plates. are the VTX ones similar to the ones I've seen with built in handles, or are coated in something? if so, is that worth $8 a plate?
 
actually they both have built in handles, but i thiniik im gonna go with the golds gym ones just so I can get 4 of them or something....


any more opinions?
 
Find a Play It Again Sports if you have one near you or a used sporting goods store. The price should be around .59 for new and .39 for used.

But regarding the two--go with the cheaper.
 
I just got 2 more 45 lb plates at walmart for 60 bux. the gold's gym ones. and I just got scammed 130 dollars on paypal. so i'm kinda mad at that.
