Hi, I am planning to to the big exercises like squats, deadlifts etc at home. Can anyone tell me what sort of mat is recommended to use? I have seen ones that are 25mm thick and filled with high density foam and extra heavy duty vinyl covers but i'm not sure if this is what i need for doing the exercises i just mentioned.
I will be lifting on a concrete floor and i don't want to much damage to my weights or the floor when i drop them.
Another thing; can anyone tell me if they recommend nylon covered weights for home to reduce damage. I like the look of some steel ones but don't know what's best.
