when should i start weight training ?

hi

i was 86 kg three months ago and now i'm 66 about average but i'm still a bit chubby around the stomach because my dite was cardio and counting calories no weight training what so ever i was wondering when should i start weight training now or should i continue on my diet to get below average and lose the belly
age: 20
hight: 167cm (5'5)
weight: 66 kg (145 pound)
 
You can start weight training whenever you want. You can still diet, do cardio, and lose fat weight while weight training and gaining muscle.
