When is it best to increase weight?

I stick with the 30 pound dumbells and do 3 sets 11 reps on all my excercises should I go to 35 pound bells now or? and how many reps should I do 4-8 for big muscle gain?
 
probably try a week then do more... but thats just my guess... might wanna get a more experienced opnion
 
If you do a rep range of 8-12 then Choose a weight that you can just do 8 reps on and continue that until you are able to do 12 reps might be a couple of weeks. Then increase the weight so you can only do 8 reps again and carryon this cycle.
 
I say add those 5 pounds already and if you can only do 8 reps well.... work your way up back to 12 that way you will gian more muscle as well.
 
I am with tolly if you can do 11 reps then it is too light for heavy muscle building. Increase the weight then work back up to there.
