you're saying you do do 5 sets of 30+ reps on 17.5 kg? I am guessing you mean you do about 5 sets which adds up to around 30+ reps on 17.5 kg dumbbell right? and what kind of curl are we talking here? concentration, standing up, sitting down, incline, etc?

yeah, sorry wolverine dude, I meant as you guessed, I manage 6 sets of 5 reps = 30 in total reps.

I stand up when doing those using a curl bar.

I could use some good advise as to what you do for working on your biceps?...what's the differences between the ones you mentioned above?.

PS: whats a military press bumpbert?...

I still do the military presses, they're a nice exercise, but I've stopped doing them in the same set as the curls. I feel more exhausted doing them in conjunction, but I feel more of a burn when I can concentrate on an individual exercise and squeeze the heck out of it.

I just do curls, pull-ups (negatives) and occasional chinups to work the biceps. They seem to grow faster than my other muscles, with less effort. I noticed a difference after my first week of working out, although I may need to start working them more now that I'm in my third or fourth week and they aren't that much bigger.

I use 25lb dumbells for pretty much all exercises that require dumbells. Just moved up from the big 20. Yea I know...I'm huge. :(

I just started at 10, after 3 months im surprised at myself because when i first went to gym i couldn't even pick it up. But now i seem im doing really well on it and gonna give it a week or two to move up to 12.5kg. Im 18 btw

I top out at a little over 40, start with a warmup of 12 reps at 15lb, then 8 reps at 25, 8 at 35, then go for 6 at 40 - 45 depending how strong I am feeling and if my joints feel good.
