Hi, i haven't been to the gym much in the last 6 months due to various different reasons. Before that, i used to go 4-5 times a week with a very strict diet in place.
As, you can imagine, i have bulked up a little due to all the rest but the negative of this... i have gained a few unwanted pounds around the waist.
Experts... my question is, and that's if this is possible at all... what is the best way to keep the bulk that i have gained on my chest and arms etc, but loose some of the weight on my waist.
I understand that for the so called "perfect body" their has to be a balance between cardio and weight training along with a strict diet.
If i do too much cardio, i loose the weight around the waist but also risk loosing some of the weight and bulk that i have gained.
If i do too much weight training, i keep or increase the bulk but will find it hard to loose some of that weight around the waist.
So what exercises or training could i do to achieve what i am looking for in short period of time or in other words, what should i FOCUS on to loose some weight around the waist while keeping the gained weight up top (arms, shoulders, back)
